Amanda Beard Suing Tanning Salon For $25,000

“Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard has sued a tanning salon company in California, claiming it used her name and likeness without permission. The lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court claims ProSun posted the swimmer’s picture on its Web site ‘to create the impression that Beard endorses ProSun products.’” [Link]

Amanda Beard is really gorgeous. The lawsuit she filed must prosper since there was a violation of right to privacy, thus, failure to obtain the consent of the person whose picture was taken is fatal.
