“Michael Larson has issued a statement to NBC’s ‘Today’ show. He says, ‘Not all of the charges are as they appear,’ and says his daughter ‘was doing nothing more than performing the duties of her job.’ According to the criminal complaint, 18-year-old Ashton Larson and 19-year-old Brianna Broitzman laughed earlier this year as they spat in residents’ mouths, poked and grabbed them, and at times mocked residents until they screamed.” [Link]

This makes me sick these little sociopathic bitches have parents who let them get away with this horrible thing.
Anyone who defends their behavior is just as bad.Their nothing more than sociopathic bitches disguised as all American suburban girls from the heartland. These two are evil

I am ashamed to say that I grew up in that area and have family in the area. Thank God that I don’t have children or family in the Albert Lea school system if they can’t teach their young people compassion. How did these girls ever complete their CNA classes. Didn’t the instructors pick up any vibes by the girls actions during practicals.
Good Sam is a or was a good nursing home. My grandmother lived their for several years before her death at 101. I am confident that she had good care. She was also a resident at the home over 10 years ago.
These girls should not get the aniticipated slap on the wrist. They should be prosecuted and at the very least put in a mental facility where they loose their freedom for several years. My gut feeling is that these girls feel no remorse and should be treated accordingly.

Way to go Dad !!!

You should probably get a job description before you open your mouth and insert foot!!

The IQ does not fall far from the tree…

I blame the Parents – as they must have not taken thier responsibilities very seriously…there are worse kids out there

When I heard this story, it made me sick. I was raised by elderly people and if anyone ever did anything like that to them, they wouldn’t have to worry about fear of jail. The way this country treats their elderly is deplorable. It’s bad enough that they are so often forgotten and neglected. However, it’s much sadder to see them hurt by the very ones who are supposed to be caring for them. And to hear their parents defend them… They probably think it’s okay to drown kittens and shake babies!!
