Ex-Worldcom CEO Bernie Ebbers Wants Clemency From Bush

“Ebbers, who was convicted of helping mastermind an $11 billion accounting fraud, is asking the president to reduce his 25-year sentence. Ebbers has filed a petition for commutation to the Office of the Pardon Attorney. And the petition is under review, a Justice Department spokeswoman told Reuters.” [Link]

I believe Scott Sullivan lied to get off easy.How to you prove it,I don’t know. Only Bernie and God know the truth. Until then I pray Bernie gets clemency from Bush.

I believe Bernie Ebbers deserves to die in jail. I’m a former WorldCom Employee who saw employees retire with nothing left in their 401K. Bernie had people targeting employees with large amounts of stock to take out loans to buy more stock. When one of my friends retired, he owed 15,000 dollars and all of his retirement funds were gone.
If Bush give clemency it will just prove that he part of the rich corrupt politicians who support this activity. It is the reason our economy has gone downhill during his administration. Mary

A shame An old man doing time. Just what does he do in the can, jack off all day. He got to close to the edge and then went over it. Common sense is if you were in the can you would want the hell out.
