I'm pretty sure "Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Burlingame, California" doesn't fall under the GM brand.

Some list, where the other 95% of it. Nice headline to get people to look!! The employees of GM dealerships are just trying to find out if they are on it, the owners won't tell us anything!! And bogus sites like this just add to our frustration!!

some dealerships are DOING BUSINESS AS 'your local GM DEALER'…. but with the chrysler /jeep dodge as the main business if they originally opened as chrysler.. esp the 'groups' like FOX automotive group. they sell everything.

Since GM is NOT in bankruptcy, they do not have to make this list public. Chrysler had to release their list to public record since the courts are in control of their actions.

Why can not Gm just bring down the price instead of giving it to the Company fat CEOs. The consumer can not continue getting whipped.
I was looking at a new 2008 pickup last fall. When the 2009 came out they were $4000 more for less equipment on the 09 GM Pickup
Closing dealers is not going to solve the problem it creates more of a problem. I am wanting to buy one but can not now.

Because this is an action between the dealership and GM, the information is apparently slow to come in. I understand that the lsit is being compiled as induividual dealers disclose GM's intention to close them (most of the time) to local media. Chrysler's "hit list" was part of their bankruptcy proceedings and thus public record.

Many dealers are hesitant to share their fate as they do have a right to appeal the decision.

The dealers have nothing to gain and everything to loose to admitt that they are on the closing list. It will leak out sooner or later, where is the story lines about dealers not telling the truth? Again left up to the little people to be stuck in the wind.

GM is doing a huge disservice to the auto buying public and to the dealerships that will not be closed.

The Best thing all you guys can do is trade in all your import vehicles at a GM Dealership and stop wondering who will be here in the future and who won't. I can tell you this, IF people don't start buying GM or Chrysler Products they'll all be gone in the next few years.

I'm applying for a job at every dealership. Anyone that turns me down is on the closing list cause I'm that awesome.
If anyone finds a creditable please advise. I truly think these forums are where the news will come from.
