She may have just been consoling a friend. We do not know the situation. Friends embrace in this way to help console and lend support. This photo shows nothing except how bent society is to invade celebrit privacy and spread rumors. If it is her "lover" then so what! Who are we to judge!
I've been listening to Alicia Keys for quite some time, I have grown to be a really big fan, so after watching her on T.V. and really seeing how good of a person she is, these allegations sounds like they couldn't be farther from the truth. If you look at her body language in picture, it looks like she's just simply hugging a friend or relative. This doesn't look like something that she do. And besides, even if she is lesbian, although I believe their just rumors, who's business is it anyway. I'm a big fan, and I will remain one regardless of her sexual orientation.
There is nothing wrong with that picture. This is nothing but a ploy to smear her name. I bet you my next 5 paychecks that she's just giving a fan a hug. If you look closely the girl looks like she's a young teenager. Hit me up when you actually have a pic of her kissing a female, either way, who cares??? Lesbians got to get their grrove on too. This is funny because tha'ts one of her closest friends since high school and she's as striaght as it gets. I thin they are just trying to speculate. If alicia is gay or bi or whatever...who cares? I just know this would not be the girlfriend

show me a picture of two girls making out and then tell me it's a lesbian embrace. that one doesn't look incriminating enough to say anything like that... but what's wrong with being gay, anyway? being psycho-christian... now, that's something to be ashamed of. think of all the poor gay teens that commit suicide everywhere, all because some asshole messed up the bible. think of poor jesus, who came to this world to teach us peace and has had war after war carried out in his name all because ya'll wanna be assholes. my advice to all ya haters- focus your energy on your own lives. anytime you start thinking about beating on fags or niggers or crackers or whoever the hell else you're hating on these days, go to a group home and teach a homeless kid to read. go to a nursing home and visit some old guy who's family never visits him anymore. i'm telling you... of all the things in this world we should be ashamed of, being gay is somewhere on the bottom of that list with your looks. you get what you project, and if its hate nothing but hate's gonna come to you so just chill out.

There is nothing wrong with being gay, and I feel like Hollywood, and the media, and society in general focuses way too much on other people's lives. Whose business is it if Alicia Keys is a lesbian? Or bisexual? Or smart? Or dumb? Or black? Or white? All that doesn't matter. The only thing that should matter is that she's a good person who makes good music who's entertaining to the public. I'm so fucking sick of everyone wanting to get into celebrities' lives. Especially with sexuality. I mean, let's think about it. Everyone is bisexual. It makes complete since. We all have both female and male energy. There has to be a balance. There's good and bad in us, happiness and sadness, knowledge and ignorance, so why wouldn't there be homosexuality and heterosexuality. Some people just lean more towards one than the other.
Anyway, I'll love Alicia regardless. And y'all people who feel like you need to know about her sexual orientation really need to get a FUCKING life. Thanks.
