I'm from Metro Detroit and your facts aren't quite right.
The body parts were discovered near Grant's suburban home in a park not 225 miles away. He drove to northern Michigan to hide out. The cops found Tara Grant's trunk in Grant's garage. He moved it there after he heard that the cops were going to go back and search the nearby park again.
