Pinup model Nikki Giavasis has burst into the national spotlight as a peripheral character in the story of the missing Jessie Davis, even though she's 3,000 miles away.

The aspiring actress from Los Angeles gained fame last week in connection with the disappearance of the pregnant Stark County woman. Giavasis' role: She, like Davis, had a baby out of wedlock with Canton police officer Bobby Cutts.

So who is she?

The 30-year-old model and former Houston Oilers cheerleader is raising her two children - the other one fathered by former Cavaliers player Shawn Kemp - as she tries to crack the Hollywood entertainment scene.

She appears on lots of cheesecake Web sites and is credited as a model and winner of bikini competitions. She has appeared on television shows, including on MTV. (LINK)
