AOL said today that Tim Armstrong, a Google exec who ran the search giant’s advertising business in the Americas, will become its new CEO. In a statement, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes called him “the right executive to move AOL into the next phase of its evolution.”
The Wall Street Journal reports that former AOL CEO Jonathan Miller is trying to raise money in order to purchase troubled search engine Yahoo!
