“Don Hewitt, recognized as a father of modern television news and the creator of the medium’s most successful broadcast, 60 Minutes, died today. He was 86. Hewitt was executive producer of CBS News, the title he took when he stepped down from 60 Minutes in 2004.” Link


"Big Bang Theory" Now A CBS Sitcom Hit

“The audience for summer reruns of the sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” is up 52 percent over last summer. Nielsen Media Research says the show had nearly as many viewers as television’s top-rated comedy, “Two and a Half Men.” Summertime second runs are often when a show catches on. That happened last year with “NCIS” on CBS, which last week was the most popular drama on television.” Link

Letterman Again Apologizes To Palin Publicity Campaign
