“Judge Jed Rakoff ruled that the public’s right to know about an investigation that led to the resignation of the governor outweighed any privacy concerns, especially since the names of other clients were to be redacted. The materials to be unsealed were affidavits and other documents that prosecutors filed in support of their request to wiretap. They must be released by Tuesday, the judge said.” [Link]

Five years after “Girls Gone Wild” filmed an unknown teen cavorting topless in Miami Beach, the now-notorious Ashley Alexandra Dupré — the woman whose paid liaison with Eliot Spitzer forced him to resign as New York governor — is demanding a cut of the money from video sales. Dupré filed a lawsuit Monday in federal court in Miami, claiming Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis and his company owe her more than $10 million. Now 22 (turning 23 Wednesday), Dupré was a few weeks shy of her 18th birthday when she ran into Francis’ film crew outside Miami Beach’s Chesterfield Hotel in March 2003. They got her drunk and filmed her flashing her breasts in hotel rooms, according to the suit. [Link]
The New York Post makes yet another link between politics and sex rings today. Jessica Cutler, the Senate aide cum Washingtonienne blogger who detailed her sexcapades on Capitol Hill four years ago is reportedly a model on Kristin “Billie” Davis’ escort web site. According to a article in Thursday’s New York Post, Davis’s girls were also visited by Eliot Spitzer. [Link]
Stop that $1 million check: It turns out the call girl linked to Eliot Spitzer had already shed her clothes for “Girls Gone Wild” as an 18-year-old while partying in Miami, the video company’s founder said Tuesday. Joe Francis had reached out to Ashley Alexandra Dupre, now 22, with an offer of $1 million to appear in a non-nude spread for his company’s new magazine, plus a chance to join the “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus, his company announced Tuesday. But Francis said someone had a revelation at the Tuesday morning staff meeting: Did anyone think to check the archives? They did, he said — and there she was. [Link]
Ashley Alexandra Dupre has already made an estimated $200,000 – worth nearly four dozen four-hour trysts with the “gov of love” – from online music downloads in the wake of the Gov. Spitzer sex scandal – and she is poised to make millions more. Dupre put two songs on the music Web site AmieStreet.com. They are selling at 68 cents each and have been downloaded about 300,000 times. [Link]
The high-class hooker whose tryst with Eliot Spitzer brought down the governor has been given immunity to testify in the investigation of a worldwide prostitution ring. Word that Manhattan federal prosecutors have given Ashley Alexandra Dupré immunity came as members of the Spitzer administration were feeling high heat in the expanding probe. Workers for Spitzer’s election campaign have hired lawyers, preparing to meet with probers looking into whether Spitzer illegally used campaign donations to get to and from his trysts with hookers. The offers are already coming for the woman at the center of the Eliot Spitzer call-girl scandal. She’s wanted on the pages of Penthouse. The magazine has been trying to reach out to 22-year-old Ashley Alexandra Dupre, but has not succeeded. Penthouse Magazine Group president and publisher Diane Silberstein says Penthouse would “love to have her in the magazine” and would consider offering her a cover shot. [Link]
Kristen, described in a federal affidavit as having a Feb. 13 rendezvous with Mr. Spitzer at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, has spent the last few days in her ninth-floor rental in an upscale apartment building in the Flatiron district. On Monday, she made a brief appearance in federal court as a witness in the case against four people charged with operating the prostitution ring, Emperor’s Club V.I.P. In a series of telephone interviews on Tuesday night, she said she had slept very little over the past week due to the stress from the case. “I just don’t want to be thought of as a monster,” the woman said as she told the tiniest tidbits of her story. Born Ashley Youmans but now known as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, she spoke softly and with good humor as she added with significant understatement: “This has been a very difficult time. It is complicated.” [Link]

Jossip is reporting that Kristin, the call girl now famously responsible for the demise of a political career, is looking to sell her story to the highest bidder. As of now, it appears Extra has the lead, offering a reported $100,000. [Link]
