Michael Burgess: Former Oklahoma Sheriff To Begin Prison Sex Slave Trial

“Jury selection begins Monday in the trial of 56-year-old Michael Burgess, who is being tried on charges of rape, kidnapping, sexual battery and bribery. If convicted, the former lawman could face up to 467 years in prison. The trial was moved to Fairview after Burgess’ lawyers cited the publicity surrounding the case. Custer County judges and prosecutors already had asked to be removed from the case because of their relationship with the former sheriff.” [Link]
Oklahoma High School Student Arrested For Planned Mass Murder
“Authorities have uncovered a student’s alleged plot to kill fellow students and teachers at a Midwest City, Okla., high school, officials said. The Midwest City High School student was taken from the school to the Oklahoma County Juvenile Detention Center, where he was arrested for allegedly conspiring to perform an act of violence involving serious bodily harm or death, KWTV of Oklahoma City reported.” [Link]
