Wendy Cannin: Oregon Teacher Indicted For Sex With Teen Students

“Morrow County District Attorney Elizabeth Ballard said Wendy Cannin, 30, remains in jail on $40,000 bail. The grand jury, Ballard said, came back with six charges against Cannin:

• one count of third-degree rape, a Class C felony;
• one count of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony;
• one count of third-degree sodomy, a Class C felony;
• two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, Class A misdemeanors;
• and one count of sexual misconduct, also a Class C misdemeanor.” Link

Oregon Woman Squeezed Intruder's Naked Genitals To Deter Robbery

“The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said an 88-year-old woman fended off a naked intruder by grabbing the man’s crotch and squeezing. Deputy Paul McRedmond said the man got into the house Tuesday through a sliding door. He backed the woman into her living room and pushed her face down onto a chair.” [Link]
