“Nashville’s assistant medical examiner said Wednesday that gunpowder residue was found on Kazemi’s hands, moving authorities to ‘95 percent’ certainty that she killed McNair and herself. But Feng Li, who performed autopsies on both bodies, stopped short of confirming the murder-suicide, pending ballistics tests and toxicologies.” Link

“Nashville Police idenitifed the second victim in the shooting of former Titans Quarterback Steve McNair as 20-year old Sahel Kazemi. Police found the pistol near Kazemi’s body on the floor of a condiminium rented by McNair. McNair was seated on the couch. They are not ruling out a murder/suicide in the case. There were no signs of forced entry on the condominium.” Link
