“San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman is accused of choking model and MTV reality show hostess Tila (Tequila) Nguyen and physically restraining her from leaving his home, according to the reports. The San Diego Union-Tribune described Nguyen as Merriman’s girlfriend. She signed a citizen’s arrest complaint at the scene charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment, and was taken to a hospital, according to the reports.” Link
