“Five Lewisville ISD cheerleaders accused of using illegal drugs at a private camp last weekend will be suspended from their squads for three events, a district spokeswoman said today. The five students, both girls and boys, attend two high schools: Lewisville and Marcus.” Link

“A 12-year-old was in custody as Dallas police investigate allegations she pressured four younger children to perform sex acts on each other. A judge on Monday ordered the girl to remain in juvenile custody on aggravated sexual assault charges. “Officers called to the home early Sunday found the boy’s mother, Otty Sanchez, sitting on the couch with a self-inflicted wound to her chest and her throat partially slashed, screaming ‘I killed my baby! I killed my baby!’ police said. She told officers the devil made her do it, police said.
