“Professional wrestler Sean Morley, who grew up in Ennismore, was laid off yesterday after 11 years with World Wrestling Entertainment. Morley, 35, who once lived in the Bethany area while working for the WWE and now lives in Phoenix AZ ., was among more than 60 WWE employees laid off yesterday — about 10 per cent of its workforce — as part of a plan by the Stamford, Conn.-based company to cut about $20 million in costs because of the worldwide economic downturn. ” [Link]
